102A renovations, a 2nd time around
2005 - 2008
Lot's of changes on the property for this time frame at Gabriel's Condo's were created on the 104 side.
And then, yes, you guessed it...it was time to renovate again 102a which was staff housing for years was taken down to the frame. This house had incredible bones. We kept the frame, we just took everything else out, even the floor system! We honored the original 1700 corner cross cut beams, and left them exposed in the new rooms. We also kept the 2 unearthed circular brick cellars. We just worked around them.
The house was named "Seaview" after the fishermen of the 1700 and 1800's left. Seaview was home to many artists in town, including our own dear friend, Terry Horowitz.
102A was truly a project of love. If you walk through the rooms you can tell every ounce of each room was meticulously thought after.
The rooms all took on important names, as usual at Gabriel's Laurel, Susan, Willow, Olivia and Ariel.
